We must do the right thing, Okorocha tells Buhari
Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha who led nine other governors elected on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to meet President Muhammadu Buhari says their meeting with the president was to demand justice and ensure that the right thing was done.
According to him, they reviewed the current crisis characterizing the primaries of APC throughout Nigeria and tried to find necessary solution to them.
Among his entourage was Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo), Simon Lalong (Plateau), Tanko Almakura (Nasarawa), Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Sani Bello (Niger), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi) and Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun).
“We came to review the various crises characterising our primaries especially the APC with a view to finding solution,” he noted
“We are looking for a way out in this regard. We are going to find solution, our party believes in justice, equity and fairness. We are requesting that the right thing be done and let everyone contest the elections.” he added.
