1. Lai Mohammed involves in 2.5 billion fraud
Minister of Information Lai Mohammed said he did not follow due diligence before signing off on a controversial N2.5 billion payment to a private digital broadcast signal distributor according to an exclusive report by Premium Times.
Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission (ICPC) has been investigating the controversial payment since June 2018. With this new development, ICPC has charged the DG of NBC Modibbo Kawu, for allegedly deceiving Mr Mohammed to perpetuate the fraud. No one can actually tell what will happen to Lai Mohammed.
