Extra: Cause chaos, any police officer that arrest you will lose his job, APC chairman tell supporters
The Kano State chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Abbas, has allegedly ask the supporters of APC in the State to be ready to cause chaos and disrupt the planned inconclusive election scheduled for March 23.
In a video that has since gone viral on Social media, the chairman who was dressed in a white Kaftan and a white cap, was surrounded by some youths who were applauding his remarks.
Mr Abbas who was speaking in Hausa language informed the APC supporters that the reschedule election was a do or die affairs and encourage them to disrupt the election were necessary assuring them of Police protection if caught.
“There is every possibility that you can be arrested. But let me tell you; before you get to the police station we will make sure you are released and the police that arrested you will likely lose his job,” he noted
“We are going to give you every protection that is required. This election is a matter of do or die for us. We must win this election,” he added.
