We are not leaving APC – nPDP caucus member
Bala Ibn Na’Allah, the deputy senate leader while speaking exclusively to some selected journalists said; “In our state (Kebbi), we have already taken a position on what to do. Our state is APC, we have an APC governor and we are all for the party. If I want to go to any political party nobody can stop me but for now, that is not the position. People should stop spreading falsehood about me,”
Na’Allah who have been at loggerheads with the National leadership of the APC had before now being rumored to have been suspended from the party in his state, an allegation the then APC Publicity Secretary in Kebbi state, Sani Dododo denied.
“APC party has rules and regulations governing the party”, he said. “So a personality with the status of Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah in the party and also from the constituency he is representing cannot be expelled from the party without committing any offense.
“Even if he offended the party, due process must be followed. Unless it goes through the constitutional channels from ward level to local government level and state and up to Central Working Committee of 16 members before a party member will be expelled from the party,” Sani Dododo said.
