You will be killed in Wuse market if you criticize Buhari – Senator Ndume
Wuse market is one of Abuja’s largest markets where everything from clothes, jewelries, telecoms gadgets, food stuffs etc is sold in abundance. It is one market that accommodates anything that has to do with commerce.
But one thing many people do not know is that you might nt come out of Wuse market alive if you dare criticize President Muhammadu Buhari; at least so says Borno state Senator Ali Ndume in one of his recent interviews with NAN.
“If you go to Wuse Market and start criticising this government, I don’t think you will come back alive,’ Ndume said, referring to the goodwill the President enjoys around the market vicinity.
He cited a case where Charles Oputa popularly called Charly Boy went on a protest against the President in Wuse market and was lucky to have escaped with his life.
“For instance, Charly Boy, convener of ‘Our Mumu Don Do’ carried his agitation too far. He went to Wuse Market and the masses chased him away,” he said.
Going further he said; “the people criticising APC are the people that destroyed Nigeria, abused and vandalised Nigeria for 16 years.
“When the previous government came into power, yes, there was armed robbery problem but it was minimal.
“There was no kidnapping, Boko Haram and no farmers-herders clash. Even, communal clashes then were not frequent.
“Buhari said he will address three things – insecurity, infrastructural decay and corruption. While we will not say we have gotten there yet, we are working hard.”
