2019: Gana reveals why Tinubu will work for Atiku
A former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Abba Gana has given reasons why the National leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu will work for the emergence of PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar as Nigeria president in 2019.
In a chat with the SUN, Abba disclosed that Tinubu would work for Atiku in 2019 because they have ‘common interest’ He also noted that the PDP was going to win the 2019 presidential election with a large margin. According to him, the APC used Buhari as Mr. integrity to campaigned in 2015 but reality has set in as “Mr. Integrity did not perform in the three subjects they chose for themselves”
“I am sure that Tinubu may realize that he faces less danger with Atiku as president. They have common businesses and I am sure they would work together. Tinubu has more things in common with Atiku than Buhari. So at worst, in the South West, President Buhari and Atiku would split the votes,” he told Sun
“Otherwise, I would give Atiku 60 to 65 percent of the votes in the South West. In the North West where Buhari comes from, the votes will be split between him and Atiku. Buhari has no chance against Atiku in the coming election. I am being very conservative in my analysis. People are really being mobilized against Buhari.
“You see, this is the problem of the APC; in 2015, they used Buhari as Mr. Integrity without knowing the consequences and considering whether he would perform or not. Integrity is the tool they used but how has it helped in the development of the country. So, after about four years, Mr. Integrity did not perform in the three subjects they chose for themselves,” he added
