Allege collusion: Shehu Sani issues final warning to Nigerian Lecturers
Following the allegation by a former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega that Some University lecturers colluded with politicians to undermined the integrity of the just concluded 2019 general election, the Senator representing Kaduna Central in the National Assembly Senator Shehu Sani has issue a final warning to University lecturers.
In a Statement on Friday, Senator Sani appealed to Nigerians lecturers to uphold the sanctity of education and pull out from any conduct and coordination of national elections.
According to him the Ivory tower shouldn’t be smeared with political faeces
“In the light of the new revelations, University lecturers should pull out from participating in the conduct of national elections to save the reputation and protect the moral sanctity of the academia,” he noted.
“The Ivory tower shouldn’t be smeared with political faeces.” he added.
