Divine Mandate train hits Ibeno, Esit Eket Today
Basking in the euphoria of the successes and large followership enjoyed so far in the previous outings, the Divine Mandate Campaign train will Wednesday hit the oil rich communities of Ibeno and Esit Eket local government areas.
This is part of the ongoing local government campaign tours across the state, led by the State Governor and governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Udom Emmanuel.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Media and Image Management Committee of the Divine Mandate Campaign Organisation, Barr Onofiok Luke, invites all party chieftains, stakeholders, women and youth groups, the royal fathers, religious leaders and the entire PDP family to the campaign scheduled for the Council Secretariat at Ukpenekang, Ibeno by 10am, as well as the second port of call which is Uquo the headquarters of Esit Eket by 2pm.
Governor Emmanuel is expected to be received by a crowd of supporters because of the level of infrastructural development he has brought about in the two coastal communities in the last three years, prominent among whisch are the Eket Ibeno Road and the 55kilometers Super Highway.
The event will climax with the presentation of flags to candidates of the party for senatorial, federal House of Representatives and House of Assembly, while the Governor will in turn reel out more projects he has in stock for his people in those communities.
