ASUU Strike: Have some honour and fund public schools, Shehu Sani tells Nigerian leaders
The Senator representing Kaduna Central in the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has urged Nigerian leaders to have some honour and fund public Universities .
Senator Sani stated this in a Statement on Twitter while responding to the news that The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has commenced an indefinite industrial action
According to Senator Sani, with $70 per barrel of oil Nigeria can adequately fund public universities.
His Statement reads:
“I share the belief that ASUU strike is a peaceful & justifiable action to save public universities in Nigeria.At 70$ per barrel, Nigeria can afford to adequately fund public univ.Elites in power who can afford to educate their wards abroad should have some honour,” he tweeted
