Gunmen Abduct 3 Health Workers In Nasarawa State

Unknown gunmen on Thursday, in a broad day light kidnapped three officials of the Nasarawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency (NSPHCDA).
They were seized on Nasarawa-Toto Road, Nasarawa State. The State Public Relations Officer of the Police Command, Kennedy Idrisu, who confirmed the incident disclosed that the three officials were travelling in a white Toyota Hilux van when the gunmen suddenly attacked them at Bugan-Gwari village, about noon.
“The abductors seized the workers and took them to an unknown destination” Idrisu said. He added that the victims were on an official assignment from Lafia to Gadabuke in Toto Local Government, when they were abducted by the gunmen.
He added that a joint police and military team, in collaboration with the local vigilante, had been mobilized and a search is underway in the area in an effort to rescue the victims and possibly arrest the abductors
