Ikoyi Whistle-blower to receive N421m this Week
Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun has ordered the release of N421m to Ikoyi whistle blower.
This is the commission for the money that was recovered by the Federal Government at Osborne towers, Ikoyi. According to Federal Government, N13bn was recovered earlier this year from the building.
The N421m is a commission to the 2.5% and 5% of the recovered money according to Whistle-Blowing policy.
An anonymous source revealed that the money will be released to the histle blower this week:
“The money for the payment of the Ikoyi whistle-blower is ready and that money is ready for release this week,” a source in the ministry told Punch.
“A directive has already been issued that the money should be released to the whistle-blower and that will be done before the end of the week.”
