Eno Ibanga, Meyen Etukudoh hail Udom’s re-election
…thank Mkpat Enin Youths for voting PDP

The Vice Chancellor of Akwa Ibom State University, Prof. Eno Ibanga and the Special Assistant to the Governor on Power, Engr. Meyen Etukudoh have commended youths of Mkpat Enin Local Government Area for standing by them and other leaders in the area to ensure that Governor Udom Emmanuel is reelected for a second term in office.
The two frontline leaders expressed delight over the Governor’s victory at the just concluded polls on Sunday when they played host to the 87 Village Youth Presidents of Mkpat Enin and other leaders of organized youth bodies in the area.
The Easter/ thank you meeting which took place at Ikot Udo Idem, home town of the AKSU VC, witnessed a large turnout of imminent youth leaders in the Local Government Area.
Speaking at event, Prof Eno Ibanga, commended the youths for the various roles they played before and during the elections.
He charged them to continue to support the administration of Udom Emmanuel, noting that the Governor will continue to bring dividends of Democracy to the Local Government even in his second term.
“Today we just gathered here to say thank you for the support you gave to the governor and other PDP candidates at the polls. You all played vital roles in ensuring that victory. By now we have all seen what Governor Udom Emmanuel has done in Mkpat Enin we don’t need to count them. With his victory we are sure that Mkpat Enin and other parts of State will continue to enjoy dividends of Democracy even more than we had in the first term.
On his part, the Special Assistant to Governor on Power, Engr. Meyen Etukudoh, in the spirit of Easter, urged the youths to continue to love their neighbours and everyone around them as exemplified by Christ at the Cross.
The Governor’s aide assured the youth leaders that the present administration will continue to work for the best interest of the people.
He described his boss- the Governor as the best man for the job considering his towering records in his first term in office.
Responding on behalf of the youths, Hon Emem Alex, Chairman, Nigerian Youth Council, Mkpat Enin Chapter, thanked the two leaders for always having the youths of the area at heart and promised that they will at all times support the administration of Governor Udom Emmanuel and other elected leaders.
Hon Alex in his speech reaffirmed that the Peoples Democratic Party is the only political party in the Nigeria with positive agenda for the overall development of youths.
